If you know a little bit about the Netherlands, you know it is flat an partly under sea level and the highest point is 323 meter. You wouldn’t expect much of mountain biking in the Netherlands let alone Enduro. But with Belgium and Germany as the neighbouring countries to go for Enduro riding there is a fanatic group of Dutchies riding their enduro bikes. Last October we had another group taking part in the Dutch Enduro Week we organise together with Wouter and Sanne from BikguideNL.
In short the Dutch Enduro Week is a mountain bike trip where we show you the best of Zona Zero and Puro Pirineo over 5 days of riding. Some days are shuttle assisted and some are 100% pedal yourself. We sleep in Ainsa old town with one of our local partners and have a trip to the local Rondadora brewery. This week is not exclusive for mountain bikers from the Netherlands. If you happen to look for a mountain bike trip during that week in Ainsa, you are invited to join.
“Jeroen really knows the area around Ainsa and that shows in the rides. During the week there was a great buildup in difficulty. We rode some of the best trails, but there is more to ride so I can't see myself not going back.”

This year we had the Dutch vlogger André Deunhouwer aka MTB Challenge riding along for all the media coverage. He is riding and reviewing all the mountain bike trails in the Netherlands and is a cult figure in the Dutch biking scene. Currently there are almost 200 XC trails in the Netherlands. Next to some great pictures and drone footage he created one trailer and 4 vlogs about the Dutch Enduro Week. Experience this week in the pictures and vlogs below. The blogs are partly in English and partly in Dutch but I would just enjoy the beautiful images.
“We had an amazing week where we rode the best trails with gorgeous views in the Zona Zero area. Jeroen knows the area very well and can adapt the tours to every skill level. It is amazing to see how well he rides his hardtail through this rocky terrain. I would totally do this trip again, anytime!”
